Responsibilities
  • Engage with engineering, product management, data center design and operations, supply chain, and fleet deployment stakeholders to understand objectives and requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and analyze discrete event simulation models using tools like FlexSim, AnyLogic, or Emulate3D to address cloud supply chain issues.
  • Assess system behavior under technical and business constraints through simulation and analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Identify optimal system configurations and performance improvements based on simulation outputs.
  • Deliver accurate simulation models on time, meeting quality standards and deadlines.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
    • At least 3 years of experience in solution engineering and 1 year in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
    • 3 years developing discrete event or agent-based simulation models with software like FlexSim, AnyLogic, or Emulate3D.
    • 2 years of experience in system architecture and reading code (e.g., Python).
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in interfacing with cross-functional stakeholders and delivering simulation models, including solution reuse or new methods.
    • Knowledge of 3D visualization platforms and software engineering.
    • Experience with product management lifecycle and collaborating with design and development teams.
    • Ability to automate simulation outputs and create visualizations.
    • Understanding of statistical principles and their application in manufacturing or operations.
    • Knowledge of design principles like First Principles and Theory of Constraints.
