Technical Solution Architect - Req #1096 Duration: thru 2/28/26 Work Location: Albany - Hybrid (Candidate must be able to attend onsite meetings at the client site as required. Remote work is permitted when onsite presence is not necessary) Seeking an experienced Technical Solution Architect to assist the client in identifying and implementing a suitable technical solution for their Food Distribution Information Management System (FDIMS) project. This role involves reviewing the business requirements already gathered by client and providing technical solution advisory to make sure client is making the right technical choices. Subcontractor resource must pass all required items listed above. NYSTEC does not require disclosure of any details of the background check. Upon completion of the background check, Subcontractor shall email the NYSTEC Contracts Department at contracts@ verifying that the subcontractor resource has passed the background check. This does not need to be completed until the resource is selected. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyze existing business requirements for the FDIMS project. Advise on appropriate technical solutions that meet business needs, leveraging expertise in distribution systems. Design high-level technical architecture for cloud-based and SaaS solutions. Provide technical leadership in selecting and integrating distribution platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, or similar. Create contextual architecture diagrams and documentation for proposed solutions. Coordinate and collaborate with client stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams. Attend onsite meetings with clients and stakeholders as required. Required Qualifications: Proven experience in designing and implementing distribution systems, particularly on platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, NetSuite, or SAP. Strong technical architecture expertise in cloud-based and SaaS solutions. Experience in system integration, including integration design and execution. Skilled in creating contextual diagrams and technical documentation for cloud and SaaS environments. TOGAF certification or equivalent in enterprise/solution architecture. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical architecture skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid onsite/remote setting. Additional Details: This is a full-time, 6-month engagement. Candidate must be able to attend onsite meetings at the client site as required. Remote work is permitted when onsite presence is not necessary. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 10 years of related experience.
