Vale Group has partnered with a company in the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry, based in Springfield, OH, who is actively searching for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to work onsite for an opportunity paying a competitive salary, based on experience. This role will drive sales and business development within the Champion GSE division, focusing on providing engineered container and GSE solutions to civil, defense, and energy sector clients. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background combined with effective sales strategies to meet customer demands and support project execution.

Requirements of the Technical Sales Manager:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the aerospace or manufacturing sectors
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering preferred (equivalent degrees with relevant experience considered)
  • Strong presentation and relationship management skills
  • Experience with proposal development, strategic sales planning, and contract negotiation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; CAD software experience (e.g., Catia, NX) is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including outside the local area
