Job Description

A leading global life science firm specializing in high-quality biological specimens and value-added services is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) for ADMET Services in the US West Region, including WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, UT, AZ, and Western Canada, preferably in the SF Bay Area.

The company provides control and disease state samples, including human and animal tissues, cell products, blood, and other biofluids, supporting precision medicine research and improved patient outcomes. They help scientists understand pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism of new compounds and their effects on disease processes.

The TSS will be responsible for direct sales activities within their market, achieving revenue targets, and developing client relationships through a consultative approach. They will provide scientific input into project design, leveraging their expertise to offer value to customers and establish the company as a leader in scientific knowledge and customer service.

Knowledge & Skills

• Develop and execute account plans to meet revenue goals.
• Forecast sales and identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain extensive market and competitor knowledge.
• Build strong client relationships and manage customer expectations effectively.
• Represent the company at industry events and contribute to product development insights.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting within SFDC.

Work Experience, Skills, and Education:

• Degree in Life Sciences preferred, PhD highly desirable.
• Experience in business development within pharmaceutical biotech or CRO sectors.
• Proven sales success and ability to grow customer accounts.
• Self-motivated, client-focused, and able to work under pressure.
