Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of our Technical Sales Engineer position is to represent Triosim in all phases of the product and services sales process for assigned customers within a specific geographic territory. The role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, relationship-building skills, and extensive knowledge of our products and services. Candidates must effectively communicate with prospects, customers, and partners to lead stakeholders through the sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and service customers in the assigned territory.
- Research customer needs and problems to present suitable solutions from Triosim's offerings.
- Sell across all Triosim divisions including Mechanical Services, Diagnostic Services, and Equipment Manufacturing & Restoration.
- Visit potential and existing customers to build relationships, follow up on leads, close sales, and provide technical support.
- Build relationships with key decision makers such as engineers, planners, managers, and directors.
- Achieve sales targets related to revenue, profit, and expenses.
- Create strategic plans to optimize short-term and long-term regional performance, including annual reports.
- Deliver professional sales presentations and close deals effectively.
- Communicate diligently internally and externally to ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Complete safety training and promote safety at all job sites and during travel.
- Follow company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Maintain customer and sales opportunity records using Dynamics 365 CRM platform.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industrial/mechanical services experience; sales experience is a plus.
Territory:
Midwest (WI, MN, Northern IL)
Location:
Field-based role with approximately 85% travel. Ideally based in central WI or MN within the assigned territory.
Compensation:
Base salary plus commissions.
