Job DescriptionThis world wide player in the sales and service of industrial measuring equipment is seeking 2 Technical Sales Engineers to support and expand our customer base across a defined territory in the Southeast United States to include GA, SC, AL and FL. This role focuses on selling high-precision measurement systems to manufacturers of extruded products such as pipe, tubing, wire, and cable. While this is a well established territory, they need someone with significant technical or manufacturing sales experience to both farm and hunt within this area.You will be based out of the Atlanta area but will travel 60-65% in your territory meeting with clients to strengthen and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and drive growth with new equipment sales with those accounts and still drive to identify and cultivate new business.One of these roles is for their Wire and Cable equipment, which comes with a vehicle and covers the Southeast territory mentioned above. The other is for their Hose and Tube equipment, which does not come with a vehicle and covers all around the country and Canada. Either way, you will be flying to many locations, including spending a week in Germany for extensive training. Other training will be On-The-Job, traveling with an experienced Technical Sales Engineer.To go along with your strong technical or manufacturing sales experience, you will need to show you have strong project management skills with a creative and detail-oriented approach.
