Technical Project Manager - Genesis10 : Job Details

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager for our corporate investment banking client in New York, NY. This is a 6+ month contract, 100% remote position.

Role Summary:We need a hands-on, delivery-focused Project Manager to drive a software project from development through pilot testing and into production turnover. The person will support coordination across global teams (US and Europe), with a preference for candidates aligning with Pittsburgh working hours.

Key Functions:

• Own and drive project execution across teams and stakeholders
• Lead weekly scrum calls; act as the main point for downstream coordination
• Provide weekly reports to senior management and ensure milestones are met
• Partner with users to test pilot features and draft turnover documentation
• Document processes and manage project artifacts in Jira and Confluence
• Coordinate with GitHub-based codebase and development efforts
• Collaborate with the bank-provided PM on administrative tasks
• Represent the project in client and user conversations, requiring strong soft skills

Requirements & Preferences:

• Solid technical understanding as a PM, ideally with Angular familiarity
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, GitHub
• Strong interpersonal and reporting skills
• Ability to work UK hours starting at 7am to coordinate with US and European teams
• UK-based preferred, but flexible for the right candidate

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 8-10 years of experience in software development
• Experience in securities or financial services industry is a plus
• Candidates must be available to work directly as Genesis10 employees

Pay rate range: $90.00 - $100.00 hourly
