Technical Product Manager – Internal CMS Platform (Cosmic)

Job Summary: Cosmic is our internal Content Management System (CMS) powering our e-commerce website and internal tools. We seek a Technical Product Manager to lead Cosmic's strategy and execution, acting as a bridge between U.S.-based stakeholders and a remote development team in Thailand. You will own the product roadmap, backlog, and stakeholder communication, translating high-level objectives into a clear product direction. This role is based in Provo, Utah and/or Las Vegas, NV with a hybrid schedule, requiring flexible hours to overlap with the team in Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Full Product Ownership: End-to-end accountability for Cosmic's success, including defining vision, roadmap, delivery, and measuring outcomes.
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and drive the product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Backlog Ownership: Manage and prioritize features, enhancements, and bugs; translate requirements into user stories.
  • Agile Leadership: Serve as Product Owner for an Agile team; lead sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Communication & Liaison: Act as primary liaison between U.S. stakeholders and Thailand team; maintain effective communication.
  • Technical Guidance: Use your technical understanding to guide decisions on APIs and backend systems.
  • Documentation & Training: Produce documentation, conduct demos, and provide training.
  • Continuous Improvement: Track metrics and use feedback for product enhancement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in product management in a software/technical environment
  • Strong understanding of web technologies and APIs
  • Experience with Agile development, user stories, and backlog management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Ownership mindset with proven track record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CMS domain experience or content workflows understanding
  • Experience with document-oriented NoSQL databases like Amazon DocumentDB
  • Familiarity with Figma and ClickUp
  • Experience in e-commerce or web platforms
  • Experience working with distributed, cross-cultural teams

This role is hybrid based in Provo, Utah, with flexible hours for overlap with the Thailand team. The Provo office offers an open, collaborative space emphasizing communication, transparency, and teamwork.
