As a Technical Product Manager for Advanced Analytics, you'll directly contribute to this mission by delivering data and analytics solutions that empower smarter decisions, improve member services, and drive responsible gun ownership awareness. Few project management roles offer such a clear connection between your work and real-world impact.

You won't be managing projects in isolation. You'll partner with marketing, member services, sales and engineering teams to ensure projects meet business goals. Your work will be visible to leadership, and you'll be trusted to turn strategic ideas into delivered solutions.

With access to platforms like Snowflake, Sigma, Tableau, and modern project management tools such as ClickUp, you'll work in a forward-leaning analytics environment. As Delta Defense expands its data science and AI capabilities—including predictive modeling, natural language processing, and generative AI—you'll help oversee projects that push the boundaries of how data drives business value.

This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall, as well as the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. The TPM will also be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, supporting the validation of data and reports, and driving continuous process improvements within the analytics function.

Technical Product Manager, Advanced Analytics - Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data and analytics projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Facilitate project planning sessions, intake reviews, stand-ups, and retrospectives, using Agile, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Conduct business analysis: gather and document requirements, perform gap analyses, and support data-related decision-making processes.
  • Perform QA tasks: assist in validating datasets, dashboards, and models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to manage backlogs, prioritize tasks, and ensure deliverables are of high quality and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Continuously assess and improve project management processes, ensuring efficient workflows and successful project outcomes.

Technical Product Manager, Advanced Analytics - Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of technical product management experience, ideally with exposure to analytics or data projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks including Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Asana.
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis and requirements gathering for data-driven initiatives.
  • Familiarity with QA processes and tools in data validation and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
