Job Description:
The Technical Lead will innovate, design, and develop cutting-edge products as a senior member of a fun and innovative team that makes a real difference by delivering products used in daily operations. You will play a key role in defining and evolving the architecture, implementation, and development environment of Telular's Enterprise Fleets platform, leveraging your deep knowledge of cloud-based software services on AWS.
Key responsibilities include:
Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance software deployed over our cloud environment using GitOps methodologies.Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers, leading by example regarding quality and schedule adherence.Translate user stories into technical tasks, ask the right questions to develop optimal solutions, and delegate tasks to the technical team.Partner with internal teams to set goals, plan projects, build timelines, stay within budget, and support organizational objectives.Promote a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, ownership, and high-quality software delivery.Identify and recommend software tools and components to maximize the Engineering team's effectiveness.Leverage appropriate cloud-based software services as part of the product technology stack.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.10-14 years of experience in a similar field.Experience in application development using AWS, Java, REST, Spring Boot, and SQL.Proven expertise working with IoT datasets using Parquet, S3, Kafka.At least 5 years of experience in AWS cloud development with services like IoT Core, EKS, RDS, S3, Secrets Manager, API Gateway, and Cognito.Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), Domain Driven Design (DDD), and service-oriented architecture (SOA).Strong understanding of security concepts including OWASP Top 10, Role-Based Access Control, OAuth, OpenID, TLS.Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and DevOps best practices.Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.Ability to own and deliver projects, analyze problems, diagnose root causes, and implement solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Compensation:
