Qualifications you'll bring:

  • An Associate Degree in Health Administration, Business, Economics, or Computer Science, with three years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance sector.
  • Full-time availability for virtual work within New York State.
  • Intermediate SQL skills for writing and debugging queries.
  • Proficient in Python, capable of writing and debugging scripts.
  • A strong ability to analyze, report, and derive insights from large and complex datasets.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement automation efficiencies.
  • A mindset of curiosity, fostering innovation for growth.
  • Humility to work collaboratively with the team.
  • A commitment to positively impacting our customers in every interaction.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely state and federal data submissions.
  • Responsible for regulatory reporting within the organization and to government entities.
  • Reconcile encounter data and provide root cause analysis on rejections related to member eligibility, provider, medical & pharmacy data, and claim payments with high integrity.
  • Continuously monitor processes, identifying discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Actively participate in the development, testing, and implementation of file extracts to meet vendor and regulatory requirements.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical skills focused on meeting the expectations of both internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Contribute to our mission of enhancing healthcare delivery and making a difference for our customers.
