You will consult closely with customers to ensure their satisfaction and ROI of VMware solutions. You are the primary liaison into VMware, responsible for addressing all business and technical issues impacting customer success. You will engage resources across VMware and expand adoption of VMware solutions within accounts by building relationships and influencing positive change. TAMs also report key metrics and contribute to program development activities.

Over the first 6-12 months, you will:

• Build long-term relationships within accounts, understanding their strategic goals.
• Lead projects and provide architectural guidance for Network Virtualization and VMware initiatives.
• Collaborate with VMware teams including consultants, engineers, and support.
• Map VMware solutions to client requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of VMware's load balancing and security solutions and product roadmap.
• Handle challenging requests across client engagements.
• Provide product feedback to VMware teams.
• Understand customer business challenges and promote best practices.
• Manage engagement milestones and advocate for customers.

As part of the Application Networking and Security TAM team, you will work long-term with dedicated accounts, collaborating with VMware teams. Requirements include:

• 8+ years' networking experience and knowledge of VMware networking products.
• 2+ years in customer-facing roles (e.g., TAM, consultant).
• BS degree or relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of VMware products, virtualization, networking, and security.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher preferred.
• Strong technical background in advanced networking, security, and data center infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% regionally.
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure & Networking, security tools, and network components.
• Experience with vendors like Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, etc.
• Ability to explain technical concepts, influence partners, and communicate effectively with C-level personnel.

This is a remote, home-based position with regional travel up to 20%.

Salary range: $84,000 - $150,000 annually. Includes bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), ESPP, and paid leave.
