Welcomes customers, answers their questions, helps them locate items, and provides advice or recommendations. Operates scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics. Balances the cash register and generates reports for credit and debit sales. Accepts payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer. Processing refunds and exchanges, resolves complaints. Bags or wraps purchases to ensure safe transport. Follows all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items. Maintains a clean workspace. Responsible for counting the contents of cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals.
