Job DescriptionAbout the RoleAre you a hands-on production leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments? We're looking for a Team Lead - Production to drive results, develop talent, and keep our operations running like a well-oiled machine. In this role, you'll lead by example on the floor, ensure smooth day-to-day production, and empower your team to exceed safety, quality, and efficiency targets.What You'll Be DoingLead and develop a high-performing team-from day-to-day guidance to coaching, performance reviews, and career development conversationsOwn the production schedule, resource planning, and shift coordination to maximize output without sacrificing qualityDrive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, reducing waste, and collaborating across teamsEnsure compliance with all safety protocols, audits (5S), and training requirementsMonitor KPIs like productivity, scrap rate, absenteeism, and safety metrics, and take action when they're off trackCollaborate with internal stakeholders (Quality, Maintenance, HR, and Supply Chain) to hit production goalsParticipate in CAPEX planning, onboarding of new employees, and support site-wide improvement projectsQualificationsWhat Success Looks LikeYour team is trained, supported, and consistently meeting targetsProduction runs are smooth, well-coordinated, and data-informedYou lead with clarity, accountability, and a people-first mindsetYou spot issues before they escalate and fix them with confidence and calmYour area of responsibility is audit-ready, alwaysWhat You Bring5+ years of experience in production leadership rolesStrong background in injection molding, assembly, or related manufacturing environmentsFormal training or certification as a Technician or Master Craftsman (or equivalent experience)Proven ability to lead in high-volume, metric-driven environmentsStrong knowledge of MES/ERP systems, production KPIs, and lean tools like FMEA, Ishikawa, KVP, 5S, or KTComfortable using tools like Microsoft Office and other digital production systemsSolid communication skills and basic proficiency in English (spoken and written)Soft Skills We ValueConfident leadership with a humble, team-first mindsetFlexibility, resilience, and a calm approach under pressureSharp decision-making paired with empathy and integrityA passion for operational excellence and helping others growWhy Join Us?At Gerresheimer, what we do literally saves lives.
