Program Manager (Team Coordinator) - Supported Living Are you passionate about supporting others and committed to making a positive impact? We are a forward-thinking non-profit organization located in South King County, dedicated to providing innovative supported living services to adults with developmental disabilities. We are in search of a dedicated individual ready to contribute to our mission. Your Responsibilities: In this role, you will oversee community and daily support services for individuals living in their own homes in South King County. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership: Provide direct supervision of up to 20 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), mentoring, and conducting performance reviews to ensure a high-performing team. This position may include scheduling and timecard approvals.
- Advocacy: Ensure the health care needs of individuals are met and documented in compliance with state and agency requirements.
- Support Management: Maintain and monitor the medical and service benefits of the individuals in your care, ensuring they have seamless access to essential resources.
- Direct Support: Offer immediate assistance to individuals during emergencies, including physical transfers and personal hygiene support.
- Financial Oversight: Conduct monthly reconciliation of individuals' financial records, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Collaboration: Schedule, attend, and provide written documentation for mandatory monthly meetings, promoting a culture of open communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
- We prefer candidates with at least 3 years of supervisory experience and 5 years of experience in providing supported living services within community settings. Ideal candidates will possess:
- The ability to cultivate supportive relationships with DSPs, individuals receiving services, and their families.
- Experience in designing highly individualized support plans tailored to unique needs.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules as required.
- Excellent listening and communication skills, along with strong organizational and documentation capabilities.
- A deep understanding of person-centered support philosophies.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with no pending risk of loss.
- Ability to pass a Washington State and FBI fingerprint background check. See WAC 388-###-#### for list of disqualifying crimes; not all convictions are disqualifying.
