The NC State Havelock Engineering Program at Craven Community College is seeking applicants for a part-time Teaching Assistant to help train and mentor the next generation of engineers. The Havelock program supports NC States land grant mission by serving the Eastern North Carolina community with a local, caring, and transformative experience that creates career-ready engineers. Each year, the ABET accredited program admits twenty to thirty students who earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in either Electrical Engineering Systems (EES) or Mechanical Engineering Systems (MES). Using dedicated distance education classrooms, Havelock Engineering students participate in electrical and mechanical engineering courses taught from Raleigh by nationally recognized NCSU faculty.
