Wolf Performing Arts Center isa non-profit theatre organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through educational theater. Read more about our organization and programming atwww.wolfperformingartscenter.org . All positions take place at our building in Bryn Mawr or in nearby surrounding schools.
Wolf PAC is committed to an inclusive work environment for all people. All persons applying must be over 18 years of age, have experience working with children, and possess or be willing to obtain PA state and federal clearances.
We are searching for several key positions for our 2025-2026 season:
Classroom Theatre Teachers:
We are searching for teaching artists for theatre classroom instruction with one or more of the following skill sets:
- Flexibility, creativity, and willingness to mentor young people
- Experience working with students in preschool through fifth grade
- Background in acting, dancing, and/or singing
- Willingness to travel to Bryn Mawr and/or surrounding suburban areas
Our after school classes, clubs, and daytime enrichment programs take place either in our facility in Bryn Mawr of in local elementary schools in Montgomery and Delaware counties.
Classes take place in the 3-7pm range on weekdays and in the mornings on Saturdays. Hiring for classes beginning in September, but have needs throughout the next academic year.
Salary is $40/hour.
Dance Instructors:
We are searching for teaching artists for our Dance Studio with the following skill sets:
- Flexibility, creativity, and willingness to mentor young people, with experience teaching dance to young learners (Pre-K to 6th Grade)
- Background in ballet, tap and jazz
- Availability on Saturday Morning to Afternoon 9am-2pm
- Pay scale starts at $40/hour.
Choreographer for Newsies JR:
Choreographerfor Newsies JR for grades 5th & 6th from September - January onMondays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 5-7PM
- Looking for a choreographer to work with a cast of approximately 30 5th & 6th grade students on their production of Newsies JR! This person must be comfortable directing and guiding a wide variety of student learners and have familiarity with putting on a stage production. This person will collaborate with a director and music director to put this production onstage.
- Rehearsals will beweekdaysfrom 5-7pm from September through January at our location in Bryn Mawr. Additional rehearsals and performances in January will be held at the Benchmark School in Media, PA.
- Position pays $41/hour and will be approximately 41.5 hours of work.
Music Director for Newsies JR:
Looking for a music director to work with a cast of approximately 30 5th & 6th grade students on their production of Newsies JR!
- This person must be comfortable teaching music to a wide variety of student learners and have familiarity with putting on a stage production. Piano skills are a plus, but not required if willing and able to teach with guide vocals and backing tracks. This person will collaborate with a director and choreographer to put this production onstage.
- Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays from 5-7pm from September through January at our location in Bryn Mawr. Additional rehearsals and performances in January will be held at the Benchmark School in Media, PA.
- Position pays $41/hour and will be approximately 41.5 hours of work.
Multi-Disciplinary Private Lesson Instructors:
Wolf PAC is searching for private lesson instructors. Disciplines for instructors include: voice, acting, dance, piano, guitar, ukulele, bass. We are in most need of teachers that specialize in voice, piano, and/or dance, however any discipline specialty (especially multi-dispensary instructors) are encouraged to apply.
- Teaching Artists would be offered a lineup of students weekly through August 2026. If it is good fit, the contract will be offered for renewal from September 2026-August 2027.
- We are most in need for instructors with availability weekly on Thursdays in the 3:00-8:30pm range and/or Saturdays in the 9:00am-3:00pm range.
- Applicants must have experience working with children. Lessons happen weekly and schedules can be flexible based on teacher availability.
- Private lessons are offered for 6 year olds through adults in 30 or 60 minute sessions. Teachers are expected to adhere to curriculum while tailoring lessons to the individual needs of the students.
- Salary is $41/hour.
