TEACHER OPENING. Preschool program in Brooklyn serving both typical and special needs children in integrated classroom setting has a vacancy for September. Candidates should have NYS certification in Students With Disabilities, Birth-2, General Education Birth-2 or Dual Certification.Candidates should have a working knowledge of child development, familiarity with implementing standardized curriculum as well as using positive behavioral intervention strategies. Classroom teachers are responsible for writing weekly lesson plans, supervising assistant teachers, and interacting with related service providers.
