Teacher Assistant - Fayetteville State University : Job Details

Is to provide young children ages 0-5 with the skills and tools necessary for them to enter kindergarten and first grade fully prepared. The prospective employee will assist the teacher with planning and implementing a program that will enrich the physical, social and emotional needs of these children. The prospective employee will be required to perform administrative duties that include completing, keeping accurate enrollment records of students, notifying the administrative assistant and director of any changes in the status of any child. The prospective employee will be responsible for maintaining an environment that is free of danger and she/he must have the ability to administer CPR and first aid should the need arises. The prospective employee will be required to mentor parents, work study students and students majoring in elementary education and birth to kindergarten.
