Our client is a well-established and growing CPA firm based in Warwick, RI, providing comprehensive tax, accounting, and advisory services to individuals and businesses across a variety of industries. With a collaborative culture and a strong local reputation, the firm is expanding its team and seeking a Tax Senior to join their supportive and high-performing group.

The Firm:

• Team of 5 Partners, 4 Managers/Supervisors, and 10–15 Associates (with active hiring plans across levels!)
• Collaborative, family-oriented work environment
• Flexible hybrid schedule and genuine commitment to work-life balance
• Strong mentorship and development culture with a clear path to advancement
• Local client base with minimal travel (5–10%), primarily within New England

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships
• Conduct tax research and provide clients with clear, practical guidance
• Identify and communicate tax-saving opportunities and planning strategies
• Support and supervise staff accountants on engagements
• Collaborate with managers and partners on tax compliance and consulting projects
• Assist in the training and development of junior staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Taxation a plus)
• CPA or EA designation (or on active track to obtain)
• 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
• Solid understanding of federal and state tax regulations
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
• Experience with UltraTax CS and QuickBooks preferred
