EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) team, specifically in our Oil & Gas tax compliance team. We are looking for a dynamic individual with the capacity to oversee multiple client engagements, review complex returns, manage staff, and conduct research. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to foster professional growth among staff. This position offers flexibility with a hybrid work model, remote work capability, and offices in various locations.

Responsibilities:

• Train, supervise, and develop associates and seniors.
• Prepare and review tax returns for various entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Develop expertise in firm niches and impart knowledge.
• Prepare depletion schedules for oil & gas tax returns.
• Advise clients on oil & gas tax-specific issues.
• Manage time and billing accurately.
• Understand client businesses, meet deadlines, and expand networking.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and apply new knowledge.
• Collaborate with tax professionals within the firm.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of tax compliance/consulting experience, preferably in public accounting or oil & gas industry.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification.
• Relevant experience in oil and gas tax compliance and consulting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Taxation or related field.
• Experience with CCH Axcess tax software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and handling large data sets.
