Tax Manager - 77 Consultants : Job Details

Accounting Firm is a fast-growing, Brooklyn, NY based CPA firm. They are looking for an individual who is ready to take on the challenge of a new role and is ready to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all aspects of tax engagement for clients including, but not limited to preparing and/or reviewing individual and business tax returns.
• Research tax issues and recognize potential problems within engagements & have discussions with upper leadership
• Prepare tax projections, tax planning assignments and other consulting projects as needed
• Exhibit strong communications skills (verbal; written; presentation) with lower level associates, management/partners, and clients
• Provide timely performance and behavior feedback to lower level associates via verbal discussions and/or evaluations
• Tackle projects, motivate others, instill our culture on direct reports & hire / promote!
• Provide updates managers and adhere to all quality control standards as required
• Achieve charge hour goals
• Demonstrate understanding of the clients business including analysis and planning of client engagements
• May be involved in the client billing process by assisting managers and principals.
• Ability to work independently while also working as part of a team to meet deadlines.
