Apply electrical engineering principles to maintain and improve the efficiency and reliability of the process equipment. Design, justify, plan, coordinate, and execute plant improvements/upgrades as directed. Design, develop, and test electrical distribution systems and load centers. Identify, analyze, and offer solutions to address electrical system needs of the plant. Prepare electrical drawings and specifications, and ensure that they are completed according to the companys drawing standards and procedures. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company safety requirements and standards procedures. Identify production problems, recommend modifications, and implement solutions to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimal performance within the equipment limits. Independently research new technologies and recommend electrical technical innovations in machine/system architecture, control methodologies, and industrial/lab/field automation.
