Responsibilities
- As a Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top talent for both entry-level and experienced positions. You will proactively seek out qualified candidates using diverse sourcing strategies, including social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook), job postings, targeted outreach, networking events, and job fairs. You will conduct interviews, coordinate with hiring managers, and maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process. You will manage and document recruiting activities using our internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other applications. You will build and nurture a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future openings and organize community events to enhance our companys presence in the local region.
- On a day-to-day basis, you will source and identify talent for entry-level and experienced hire positions, evaluate candidate profiles using various sourcing methods, and utilize platforms such as social media, job postings, inbound applications, outreach, and networking events to identify talent.
- You will interview prospective candidates and coordinate next steps with appropriate hiring managers.
- You will follow up with candidates to ensure they are up to date on the current status of their candidacy.
- You will clearly document and track recruiting activity and utilize the internal ATS and other applications.
- You will build a strong pipeline of candidates for future openings and upcoming positions, including training bootcamps.
- You will build a community events and networking plan to foster relationships and strengthen the company brand within the local region.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred; high school diploma required
- Experience in recruiting, client-facing, or high-touch customer-facing roles
- Outgoing and energetic personality with enthusiasm for community outreach; this role will be the face of our office in Whiteville and surrounding areas
- High-volume recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Knowledge of various recruiting sources and methods
- Familiarity with relevant employment regulations and laws is a plus
- History of professionalism, strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a sense of urgency
