DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the coordination and execution of talent development processes, including designing training material (slides, workbooks, manuals, etc), managing talent development projects, coordinating training schedules, and tracking training completion. This position will collaborate with other members of the Talent Development Team as well as other areas of Douglas Machine to achieve departmental and organizational goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Serve as a liaison between Talent Development and other departments, including Marketing and Service.
  • Manage Talent Development requests submitted through the Douglas Help Center.
  • Coordinate project prioritization, timeline and tasks for the Talent Development Team.
  • Manage the Training Center schedule, including customer and employee training.
  • Work with Talent Development Team to develop engaging instructional materials for online and in-person delivery.
  • Update and maintain internal-use manual for all Douglas machines.
  • Recommend and initiate projects to improve departmental quality, value and processes.
  • Proofread all training materials.
  • Coordinate technical training for new staff.
  • Coordinate life skill and professional development courses
  • Support Training Center innovation and improvement.
  • Conduct participant feedback surveys and Returns on Investments (ROIs) after training sessions.
  • Create, evaluate, and maintain employee and customer training records.
  • Manage the learning management systems and on-line content for the organization.
  • Support creation and update of course guides for training across the company.
  • Collaborate on designing and implementing best practice processes for talent development.
  • Responsible for complying with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Must have an associate degree in related field or five years related experience.
