Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting in key markets. This will be a hands-on role responsible for full cycle recruiting, employee engagement, and assisting with training. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support recruiting activities for new client locations. Travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Build applicant pipeline by researching and contacting community services, local colleges, and networking within markets.
  • Determine the hiring needs of the area by establishing staffing requirements through consultation with field management and workforce scheduling.
  • Utilize technology and social media networking tools as well as traditional sourcing techniques to source the best candidates.
  • Understand and stay informed of talent acquisition trends through research, data, metrics, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure prompt and effective communication with candidates and workforce scheduling throughout the recruiting process.
  • Participate in full cycle employment engagement from applicant to employee, ensuring proper onboarding and training.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems to keep data updated throughout the interview and hiring process.
  • Collaborate with human resources to ensure onboarding, compliance, and employee records are accurate at hire.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as an Hourly Recruiter or Retail Store Manager.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Trustworthy, high integrity, customer-centric, results-driven, and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems (Kronos/UKG Ready preferred) and MS Office.
  • Proven career stability with no more than three jobs in six years.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
