Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist (On-site) Location: Great Bend, KS 67530 Start Date: July 27, 2025 End Date: October 26, 2025 Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential extension through October) Hours per Week: 40 Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $25/hr on W2 Facility Type: Hospital/Healthcare System Department: Talent Acquisition Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to support on-site recruiting operations at the University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus. This is a contract role focused on sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates across various healthcare and administrative departments. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct candidate screening and initial phone interviews.
• Collaborate with department managers on staffing needs.
• Manage applicant tracking and scheduling through Workday ATS.
• Support hiring processes including job postings, candidate communication, and offer coordination.
• Participate in occasional offsite recruitment events (within a few hours of the facility).
• Provide administrative support for HR/talent acquisition processes as needed.

Qualifications: Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field OR Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience (4 years combined total).

Preferred:

• 3-5+ years of talent acquisition experience.
• Healthcare recruiting background.
• Workday ATS experience.
• Background in staffing or HR generalist roles.

Additional Details:

• On-site position - remote work not permitted.
• Occasional travel to nearby recruitment events may be required.
• Bi-weekly pay schedule.
• KU is a nicotine-free facility.
• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable).
• Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per month (with minimum 2-hour notice).
• No weekends, on-call, or holiday coverage required. If a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, holiday hours will be deducted from the pay period.
