One Day in the LifeMedtronic's Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) business seeks a Systems Integration Engineer II to join a high-performing team focused on defining, designing, and developing oximetry monitoring device systems. You will leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to accelerate the development of next-generation medical devices, impacting patients globally and supporting Medtronic's mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life for millions.
This role requires strong technical and leadership skills to support innovative product development within the Oximetry & Wearables Group. You will work alongside Systems Engineers on projects from early development to market release, creating phased test strategies for comprehensive testing of sub-system interfaces.
The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, motivated, and possesses excellent soft skills for team collaboration.
Systems Engineering involves trade-offs between risks, benefits, and performance within a complex regulatory environment, partnering with software, firmware, hardware, mechanical engineering, research, clinical, regulatory, product planning, and marketing teams.
This position supports technologies involving complex electronics, wired communication, adhesives, and a mix of consumer and medical technologies.
