Provide expertise for resolving technical problems, troubleshoots products and modifies them to customer requirements. Provides training to customers. The candidate will be an integral member of a technical team responsible for overseeing a complex mission system during operations and will be able to confer with a broader engineering team regarding anomalies in system operation.As part of the team, the selected candidate willhelp design, develop, integrate and test a varietyof mission system equipment onto airborneplatforms. The candidate will be expected toperforms hands-on activities by building andinstalling electrical and mechanical componentsincluding cable assemblies, computer systemsand voice/data communication devices. Thecandidate will organize and manage multipleprototype development areas. The candidate willuse special test equipment for verification ofsystem functionality.Actively contribute in the team developingseveral systems including System IntegrationLabs, Deployable Shelters, and Fixed Facilities insupport of various projects. Work effectively withmembers for the Hardware Engineering,Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, andIntegration/Test teams to develop a flexible testfacility capable of supporting both developmentand test efforts. leading maintenance, upgrade,and build-up efforts on legacy and new systems,on or ahead of schedule, within proposedbudgets. Support the Hardware EngineeringLead when on travel, ensuring local efforts staycoordinated and problems get resolved as theyarise. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leaderPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
