Systems Engineer - General Atomics : Job Details

Lead or contribute to the design, integration, and verification of complex multi-domain defense systems across RF, electrical, mechanical, and software components. Work collaboratively with diverse engineering teams to ensure system-level alignment and interoperability. Support and sometimes lead field demonstrations, customer site deployments, and post-installation validation. Translate customer requirements and operational needs into technical architectures, interface control documents, and system configurations. Design and oversee cable harnesses, power distribution, and electronic subassemblies. Provide hands-on support for RF systems, tactical radios, embedded electronics, and mechanical fixture/tooling solutions. Review and generate engineering documentation, including block diagrams, system schematics, mechanical drawings, and BOMs. Drive technical resolution of integration issues during lab builds and field tests.
