The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, serving as a prime integrator for high-performance ISR and aviation systems. We are seeking a Systems Engineer passionate about developing advanced products and services. This role involves researching, architecting, modeling, simulating, testing, and certifying systems, with a focus on survivability against nuclear events. The engineer will coordinate with subcontractors, ensure systems meet requirements, and serve as an EMP subject matter expert.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be substituted by higher education
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Expertise in MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-3023, MIL-STD-2169
  • Familiarity with HEMP and CS116 standards
  • Ability to interpret and flow down EMP requirements
  • Experience leading RF design projects
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of requirements management, system design, integration, risk management, and V&V principles
  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with requirements management and modeling tools (e.g., DOORS, Rhapsody, MATLAB)
  • Knowledge of mechanical design principles and MBSE
  • Experience or certification in MIL standards
  • Electrical design experience, including EMI/EMP compliance
  • Background in Aerospace and Defense industry
  • Experience with technical performance measurements
  • Active Top Secret clearance

Estimated salary range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22, depending on skills, experience, and location. SNC offers comprehensive benefits including health plans, 401(k), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
