A successful Engineer joining the team will do much more than write code and triage problems. They will work with Amazon's largest and most demanding customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services. This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

- Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure- 5+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
