Systems Design Engineer – Houston, Texas – On-Site

Are you ready to take control of complex industrial automation projects? Our Client is looking for a Systems Design Engineer to support control system applications from initial design through installation and client support.

What You'll Do:

• Turn client specifications into real-world engineering solutions—equipment designs, logic diagrams, schematics, loop diagrams, and more.
• Plan, schedule, and manage project resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Provide technical support and guidance at manufacturing facilities, ensuring projects meet quality standards.
• Serve as the bridge between clients and our engineering team, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and support systems remotely and on-site as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in control systems engineering across industrial automation projects.
• Proficiency with Rockwell PLC/HMI or DCS systems.
• Knowledge of Rockwell Logic Solvers (BPCS, Safety Systems) and third-party systems integration.
• Network design and configuration skills.
• Hardware design and support experience with panels, control desks, and control rooms.
• Strong understanding of Control & Instrumentation and Functional Safety Management (IEC 61508/61511).
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Work Environment:

• Office-based with some travel to on-site facilities, including industrial plants, pipelines, and refineries.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions during site visits.
