DescriptionUNDERSTANDINGThe Systems Analyst/Programmer will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, support and maintenance of Enterprise Applications at Albanese Confectionery. The primary focus will be partnering with the IT team to support the daily functions of the company as well as participate in ongoing process improvements and software configuration and development. We know that companies with a strong culture & a higher purpose perform better in the long run.•Own It•Hustle and Refuse to Settle•Love People•Act for the Greater Good•Find a wayWORKING RELATIONSHIP•IT team•IT Software Development and Integrations ManagerRESPONSIBILITIES•Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements.•Design and implement software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.•Develop and maintain custom applications, integrations, and reports using modern programming languages and frameworks.•Conduct system testing, debugging, and performance tuning.•Document technical specifications, workflows, and user guides.•Provide technical support and training to end-users and internal teams.•Administer and configure enterprise software platforms (e.g. ERP, CMMS, MES,FMS, and others) to align with business processes. •Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to recommend improvements or upgrades.•Be available for off-hour support tasks, as needed, and as part of any off-hour rotation schedule.•Comply with all company Quality, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety Standards.•Other duties as assignedREQUIRED•Minimum of two years of prior System Analyst or Information Technology experience•Experience in supporting Enterprise software in the manufacturing environment•Strong skills needed in verbal and written communication, including communicating effectively with business users and software developers•Excellent organizational and planning skills•Ability to lead and facilitate diverse groups of people to move towards solutions•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills•Minimum of three years of programming experience•Enterprise software support in manufacturing environment•Familiarity or experience with Agile/Scrum Framework is a plus.•Familiarity with business rules management system is a plus•Food manufacturing experience is a plus.EDUCATION•Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Information Systems or relevant degree.
