Precipart. located in Farmingdale, NY, is looking to hire a Systems Analyst to join our Global Digital Solutions Team. The Systems Analyst will play a crucial role managing the Helpdesk, responding to service requests, and assisting with projects and deployment. They will maintain a reliable, secure, and efficient technology environment. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot, deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all network and system equipment and applications to ensure smooth network and system operations, both in the cloud and on-premises. This role requires a customer-centric mindset, with a strong commitment to providing responsive, solutions-focused support that ensures a positive experience for end users across the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform Helpdesk duties including troubleshooting Windows OS, printer issues, answering helpdesk calls, and triaging tickets with a sense of urgency
Communicate with users/customers to keep them informed of incident progress, upcoming changes, or outages
Setup, modify, and deactivate user accounts, permissions, and passwords,
Implement new PC builds, maintain Windows updates, and perform file restores from backups
Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required, including PC's, printers, servers, and related equipment
Install and rollout new hardware and applications
Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and licensed users
Fully support, configure, and maintain the network, servers, firewall, and third-party applications
Ensure network security and connectivity by monitoring performance, testing for weaknesses, and conducting regular security assessments and audits.
Conduct regular system reviews and generate reports on performance and improvement opportunities
Create and maintain system baseline documentation and user manuals
Collaborate with various teams to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent
Research and evaluate new technologies; perform risk mitigation planning and cost/benefit analysis
Structure and prioritize business requirements and communicate plans with stakeholders for review and approval
Provide training sessions and workshops on various system processes.
Participate in change management and performance improvement initiatives
Responsible for conforming with the company's quality management system requirements, as well as contributing to its overall effectiveness, and the ultimate goals of customer satisfaction, product compliance and ethical practices/behavior.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of hands-on technical experience with systems, network, security, etc.
Knowledge of computer systems, PC repair, and network management
Must have a strong background in technologies including but not limited to Telecommunications, Office 365, Active Directory, VMware, Sophos, SSO, 2FA, SaaS, Cisco, and Cloud solutions
Demonstrated ability to gather information from multiple sources and analyze applicability and appropriateness
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work independently on projects and tasks
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to write clear work instructions and present trainings
Strong customer centric focus to create positive and productive working relationships
Must be a continuous learner of new skills and technology

Pay Range:$65,000 to $75,000 annually
Salary for this role will be determined through our assessment process, taking into account your skills, experience, and qualifications.
