As Systems Administrator, you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing Council's IT infrastructure, supporting Microsoft 365 services, Azure Entra ID, and enterprise systems. You'll ensure reliability, security, and performance across servers, applications, and cloud platforms while supporting end-users, optimizing workflows, and driving system improvements. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Council's technology landscape.

Position Summary
The Systems Administrator supports the stability, performance, and security of enterprise IT systems by managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure. This new role ensures reliable daily operations through system monitoring, performance tuning, backup management, and documentation. The Systems Administrator contributes to technical research and development initiatives to drive infrastructure innovation and support strategic IT goals. Reporting to the Senior Systems Administrator, the position focuses on Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams), Azure Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview.
