The System Administrator will be responsible for installation, maintenance and management of computer systems hardware/software, stand-alone and/or networked. Assist in the development and improvement of information technology services.

In depth knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and server hardware is essential. In depth knowledge of backup exec or other backup application. Experience working with VMware 5.0. Experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services. Ability to install, configure and troubleshoot server operating systems, software, and related hardware is required. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to quickly identify problems and implement solutions with minimal downtime. Critical thinking Using logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches.
Three years of experience supporting Windows in network environment. Experience with networking protocols, particularly TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WINS. Knowledge of server hardware and troubleshooting skills are essential. Knowledge of data storage systems and virtualization is desirable.
Proficiency in using computer systems and the listed software applications associated with performance of assigned work is essential. Basic problem-solving skills associated with software applications used is expected. Software usage relevant to job duties will be evaluated.
Familiarity with MS Office Suite required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems or a related field.
