Systems Administrator - Stony Brook University : Job Details

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume) :Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or related field. Two (2) years of applicable programming experience to include Linux and/or other system administration experience (graduate level student work experience may be considered). HPC cluster management skills (i.e. maintaining large storage devices, a job queuing system, networking devices, etc.), and user support experience. Experience with Apache or similar web hosting service. Skilled with scripting using shell, Python, or other programming languages. Experience with upgrading, maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware. Experience with web programming (i.e. HTML, CSS coding, JavaScript, PHP.) and website and other interfaces reconstruction maintenance, updates.
