Department: 867 Systems Administration Job Summary:

System Administrators upgrade, maintain, and support software, hardware, and operating systems for IBC's information systems. They diagnose, escalate, and resolve issues quickly, including support outside normal bank hours. They support escalated issues for desktop, help desk, and IBC business units, communicating technical concerns and solutions effectively. They work with Engineers and Tier II Administrators to monitor and maintain system infrastructure, including server OS, Active Directory, data center hardware, and backup systems.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Maintain, configure, and operate computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
  • Install and upgrade components and software, manage virtual servers, and automate processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, document problems and resolutions, and assess impact.
  • Manage user identities, server, and application administration for MS Windows, MS Exchange, O365, and other software.
  • Perform backups, implement data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Support Service Desk efforts and desktop support, resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide technical support across all IBC business units.
  • Communicate technical concerns and solutions clearly to peers, end users, and management.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Tier II Administrators to monitor and maintain system infrastructure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Knowledge:
  • Associates Degree in IT or 5 years of Systems Administration experience
  • Knowledge of Windows Server OS (2012, 2016, 2019), Windows Desktop (7/10), Active Directory/Azure AD, Office365, virtualization platforms (VM-Ware, Citrix, Hyper-V, Nutanix), data backup, MS Exchange Online
  • Certifications: A+, Net+, MCP
