About the Role: We are seeking an Applications Workflow Specialist to join our IT Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing clinical and administrative application performance to support efficient patient care. You'll work closely with clinicians, vendors, and internal departments to identify and resolve technical issues, improve workflows, and support automation and virtualization initiatives.

How You'll Drive Our Mission Forward:

  • Monitor and improve performance and usability of key clinical and administrative applications.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and deliver technology-driven solutions.
  • Automate manual processes where applicable to streamline operations.
  • Support and maintain the virtual desktop environment, including pool management and session troubleshooting.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of automation workflows, system configurations, and changes.
  • Support cybersecurity practices, including patch management, access control, and secure configurations.
  • Research and propose virtualization and automation improvements for enhanced performance.
  • Assist with application updates, ensuring seamless deployment and function.
  • Participate in ongoing development of clinical applications, including medical record systems.
  • Advise management on new software tools and solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide after-hours support and participate in off-hours deployments as needed.
  • Travel to clinic sites up to 20% of the time to support end users and projects.

What Makes You a Great Match:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (required)
  • Experience with VMware Horizon or other VDI platforms
  • Proficiency with automation and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell)
  • Experience administering Windows Server environments
  • Healthcare IT experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Passion for improving patient outcomes through technology
