Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Administrator for a long-term, multiyear project in Madison, WI. The role involves managing system installations, upgrades, backups, and security to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software issues.
  • Perform system backups and recovery.
  • Maintain data files and monitor system configurations.
  • Apply knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Utilize 5+ years of experience to plan and accomplish complex tasks with creativity and judgment.
    • Must Have
    • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience with PowerShell scripting in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and on-premise environments.
    • Advanced problem resolution skills.
    • Experience with automated software deployment.
    • Knowledge of Active Directory, VMware virtualization, and VMWare ESX.
    • Experience with IT server environments, MS IIS, WebSphere, Citrix, and security issues related to firewalls and ports.
    Nice To Have
    • Experience repackaging software into MSIs for deployment.
    • Experience with complex Active Directory domains and Group Policy Management.
    • Support VMware and firewall configurations, VMWare Infrastructure (ESX & vCenter).
