Job Purpose: We're seeking a detail-oriented System Operator to join our Grid Response Optimization of Virtual Energy (GROVE) team, with training provided to excel in our 24/7 operations center dedicated to monitoring and optimizing energy systems. In this role, you'll track distributed energy resources (DER), log dispatch signals, and report on asset performance in a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Grove Manager, you'll ensure smooth grid response operations with diligence and concise execution. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report on the status of distributed generation assets to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Receive, log, and process dispatch signals and communications accurately
• Document processes and maintain up-to-date logs, contacts, and performance records
• Coordinate with internal teams to address alerts efficiently and effectively
• Perform data analysis using Microsoft Suite (Excel) and proprietary tools to track asset health and optimization
• Leverage training on demand response programs to apply regular updates, ensuring systems and processes stay at optimal efficiency
• Support sales and customer teams with data-driven insights as needed
• Deliver clear and concise customer support

Basic Qualifications (Must-Haves):

• Ability to quickly learn technical systems, dashboards, and proprietary software - We Train!
• Aptitude to understand numerical thresholds and technical monitoring tasks
• Strong computer operation skills, including Microsoft Excel for data analysis
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data analysis or energy systems monitoring
• Experience with troubleshooting technical systems
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
