System Engineer (Tier 2/2.5) - MSP

Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite, 2–3 days remote)

Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000

Join one of Manhattan's most respected Cloud and Managed Services providers, supporting a loyal enterprise client relationship that has thrived for over 20 years. We're seeking a well-rounded, personable System Engineer to provide hybrid onsite and remote support for a premier account. This is a Tier 2/2.5 role for someone with a solid foundation in enterprise systems, cloud tools, and end-user support—who also shines in communication and client engagement.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver daily technical support to users (onsite and remote) across desktop, cloud, and systems
• Manage Active Directory, including onboarding/offboarding and O365/SharePoint/OneDrive sync
• Maintain and troubleshoot Office 365 mailboxes and Azure Virtual Desktops
• Support Cisco Unity VoIP phones and voicemail setup
• Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (Android & iOS)
• Maintain user accounts on AS400 and provide basic SQL support
• Assist with FTP/SFTP scripting for EDI and inventory feeds
• Support iVMS-4200 NVR/DVR security camera systems
• Help users with Crystal Reports and BarTender software
• Patch, update, and manage warehouse devices used in inventory workflows

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of MSP industry experience
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure integrations
• Hands-on experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2019, and basic SQL
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS, and Android device management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to build trust and troubleshoot effectively
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid support model and collaborate across distributed teams
