2HB Incorporated is seeking a Principal System Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Program Overview

The TKO program seeks a Systems Engineer with strong project management skills to oversee engineering and project management for end-to-end data flows supporting the Data Normalization & Automation (DNA) TTO. The successful candidate will elicit and refine requirements, develop work schedules and deliverables, document artifacts, and create roadmaps for implementing data flows, including transformation into standard data models. Building good customer relationships and coordinating with external stakeholders for requirements and data needs are essential. A good understanding of customer data flow architecture is required. The role involves working in an agile development environment. Experience with CNO data is advantageous.

Position Requirements
  • Proficiency with Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Understanding of data flow processes and system-to-system connections.
  • Basic knowledge of NiFi, including flow file attributes or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Familiarity with data formats such as CSV, JSON, PCAP, and XML.
  • Knowledge of streaming object transport formats.
  • Educational and experience requirements:
    • (U) Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 20 years of systems engineering experience.
    • (U) High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of general systems engineering experience.
    • (U) Master's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience.
    • (U) PhD in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience.

    • *Note 1: Qualified engineering fields include Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.
    • *Note 2: Related disciplines include Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics.

    • This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
