• Deliver prompt, effective support for a wide range of systems:
  • including fiber/copper networks, security cameras, door access controls, and data center infrastructure
• Proactively monitor and maintain network performance and security, ensuring seamless and secure operations
• Install, configure, and optimize network switches, routers, and servers to support robust IT infrastructure
• Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for technical systems, networks, and end-user processes
• Expertly install, repair, and program security equipment, including surveillance cameras, wireless access points, and access control systems
• Keep learning - Attend trainings and stay up to date
• Team up - Work closely with IT staff and city departments

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Solid knowledge of networking, firewalls, and system security
• Experience with switches, servers, VOIP, and access control
• Skilled in troubleshooting and infrastructure support
• Detail-oriented problem solver; Proactive team player with a growth mindset

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's in CS/IT preferred, 2+ years IT experience or equivalent. Cisco/network certs a plus. Valid driver's license required.

SALARY:

• Pay Grade: G14; $80,718 ($38.80/hr.), plus full benefits package

WORK HOURS:

• 40 hrs/wk; Mon - Fri; 7:30 am - 4:30 pm; weekend & overtime possible w/ on-call
