Target Pay Rate: $33.85-44/hr (salary will be commensurate with experience)

After introduction to work processes, begins to organize, conduct, and monitor laboratory experiments utilizing established and published procedures, along with technical and theoretical understanding. Assumes responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of experimental results. Summarizes experimental results, reviews conclusions with supervisors/project leaders, and communicates results. Keeps supervisors informed of project status, especially significant findings and critical problems. Performs work according to safety guidelines and external regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA).

Evaluates new equipment and techniques, selects problem-solving techniques, and makes sound design recommendations. Assesses results for applicability, validity, and conformance to product requirements. Analyzes and brainstorms alternative approaches with guidance. May coordinate work of technologists, technicians, and support personnel within the project. Work is typically routine; non-routine situations are limited in complexity and frequency. Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of industry experience
• Preferred: Medical Device Experience
• Required: Bio-medical engineering or bio-engineering BA degree
