System Engineer 2/3 (HR025) - DUIT : Job Details

We have immediate openings for systems engineers with 14 or more years of experience to join our certified, award-winning, and innovative IT team. Positions are located in various parts of Maryland, including Columbia, Laurel, Howard County, and Anne Arundel County.

Systems engineers analyze user requirements, develop system requirements specifications, and lead design and development activities. They guide users, conduct feasibility studies, and provide technical leadership for system integration. Responsibilities include developing technical documentation, system architecture, and design documentation, as well as guiding system development and implementation planning. Interaction with government personnel regarding technical considerations and issues is also required, with ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed.

• 14+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in similar scope projects.
• Experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field from an accredited institution, or 5 years of additional SE experience in lieu of a degree.
