System Administrator with Security Clearance - RPI Group : Job Details

RPI Group, Inc. is searching for a System Administrator to support our Marine Corps customer located in Jacksonville, NC. This is a critical and challenging position as it requires the administration and maintenance of systems and servers; planning and performing operating system installations and upgrades. This position will be located on-site, with situational telework options. Role and Responsibilities: * Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the RDT&E, Staging, Production Environment, and Directory Services.* Provide system administration to high-priority infrastructure systems, servers, and applications running a variety of operating systems/applications to include Windows, Linux, Active Directory in a Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure.* Perform administration and maintenance of infrastructure systems, servers, and endpoints.* Respond to all system administration-related work requests, including working with system maintainers, system engineering analysts, cybersecurity engineers and cybersecurity analysts.* Perform planning, coordination, and execution of operating system installations and upgrades, including patches and service pack releases.* Demonstrated experience with development, installation, configuration, maintenance, and urgent troubleshooting efforts.* Demonstrated experience performing administration and maintenance of systems and servers.* Demonstrated experience in the planning, coordination, and execution of application and operating system installations and upgrades, including patches and service pack releases.* Install and configure systems and servers.* Assist in future planning and resource allocation for server-related tasks.* Provide networking assistance as required.* Document work activity and submit weekly activity reports as required.* Maintain and update standard operating procedure documentation. Qualifications and Education Requirements * Minimum of three years' experience.* Bachelor's degree in a related field.* Experience with DISA STIGs.* IAT Level II - CompTIA Security+ Certification* Ability to maintain an active Secret security clearance and successfully pass a background investigation. Preferred Skills * Experience with the DOD Risk Management Framework.* Experience and certifications in Nutanix, Windows Server, and Linux.* Experience administering Active Directory, performing system hardening, and patch management.At RPI Group, Inc., we value our employees.
