Job Description

ECS is seeking a System Administrator Lead to work in our Coronado, CA office. This position is contingent upon contract award. We are looking for a highly skilled professional to manage a team supporting a Family of Systems (FoS). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PaaS, IaaS, DevSecOps, VMware, Microsoft Web (.Net), Database Servers, and Azure. Responsibilities include providing technical support, managing system configurations, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage configuration of production servers and laptops, including installation, imaging, patches, database administration, and support for enterprise applications in unclassified and classified environments.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and develop solutions for software and setup errors.
• Collaborate with developers and test teams to identify and resolve system issues early.
• Act as a cybersecurity policy liaison to ensure compliance and address emerging requirements.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, documentation, and remediation.
• Support RMF documentation artifacts as required.
• Deliver training on system configuration, maintenance, and operation.
• Create and maintain documentation related to system architecture, configuration, and procedures.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP .NET, SQL Server administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PowerShell, JavaScript, VB scripting.
• 5+ years with Azure, PaaS, IaaS, Agile, DevSecOps.
• 8+ years managing virtual servers with VMware ESX, Hyper-V.
• Experience with Windows Server / Linux containers.
• Leadership experience managing multiple teams.
• Experience translating user and product owner inputs into system requirements.

Desired Skills & Certifications

• PaaS, IaaS, DevSecOps, VMware, Microsoft Web, Database Servers, Azure environments.
• Security tools, RMF support, OSHA Maritime certification.
• IAT Level II, Security+ certifications, and relevant Microsoft OS training.
