REQUIRED:TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes. Supports day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem diagnosis and resolution. Communicates status updates to agency management and internal customers. Supports dispatch system and hardware issues, remaining involved in resolution. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs/loads software, troubleshoots, and maintains network components, implementing enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Level 3 System Administrator (SA) Capabilities:
Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem diagnosis and resolution.Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.Assist users in accessing and utilizing IT systems.Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all devices.Communicate status updates to management and customers.Optimize system operations and perform capacity planning.Provide in-depth troubleshooting and analysis.Support dispatch system and hardware issues.Configure and manage UNIX and Windows OS, troubleshoot, and maintain network integrity.Design systems and hardware architecture.Understand system administration interdependencies within SOA.Resolve complex hardware, application, and software integration issues.Qualifications:
- Fifteen (15) years of SA experience in similar scope, type, and complexity programs.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university; 5 additional years of SA experience can substitute for a degree.
Compensation: Salary range $78,000 to $250,000 annually, based on location, role, skills, and expertise.
